FAKE: why speed without sourcing is not worth publishing

The site does not need to win the first-post race; it needs to win the trust race.

Being first to publish is worthless if the information is wrong. When a claim is checked and shown to be false, it gets the FAKE label and stays indexed, not deleted, so the same story doesn't come back disguised as new information two weeks later.

Vice City Media Lab deliberately loses the first-post race when the source isn't solid yet. The bet is that, over time, anyone who wants to know what's real about GTA VI learns to trust exactly that delay.
